RSS Feeds

I can see the point and convenience of RSS Feeds and, yes, it was very easy to sign up for the service, requiring only an email address and password. And it was quite fun to pick out which Feeds I would like to receive from the recommended list, based on my areas of interest -- much like picking out favourite foods from a menu. (No wonder I enjoyed it!)

I had no problem adding an additional site (cbc news), but did encounter difficulties when I tried to add a blog (miss information). After much dicking around (during which my Millennium vintage computer crashed twice!) I ended up adding the blog to my blogger.com Blog dashboard instead of my bloglines favourite Feeds. The fact that I actually understand what I just typed must mean this exercise is working and I am learning!

I will now be keeping a keen lookout for the orange RSS icon as I surf the web. So nice to know what this symbol means and what it actually does!

Now the only problem remaining is: when will I find the time to read all those wonderful Feeds?! I can barely carve out an hour a day to watch the National news.
